Born Anxious is a homegrown clothing label with two objectives, to make the clothes as comfortable as possible, whilst also remaining planet friendly, and to hold important information that will aim to help not only the child, but also the caregiver as well when required. As an autism mum myself, I have thought about what could help me and other caregivers whilst trying to be as generic as possible within the designs, alongside giving those the opportunity to personalise their products as well.

“We were invited as a family to take part in CHABS U.K. Fashion show in London featuring Harvey Prices brand new black and gold range of inclusive clothing.
We were so surprised how much Lotan and Lanson enjoyed this experience, one been around so many different neurodiverse children and adults and secondly walking a packed fashion show with the worlds press present at age 4.
Their confidence has come on show much since the fashion show they held their head high and we’re so proud to be showcasing Harvey new range , Lanson loved feeling all grown up wearing One of Harvey snap back baseball hat while Lotan loved his book bag .
It’s important to us as a family to show the boys everyone is different and attending this really affirmed this , Lotan and Lanson don’t see difference as they have been brought up from birth with Levi and Lucas both diagnosed with severe Autistic spectrum disorder, and have with seen the boys meltdowns and them having epileptic seizures.”
We didn’t think our experience in 2021 could be equalled, let alone beaten, but 2022 was AMAZING! Thank you ChabsUK for having us back. What a day….. and more.
Two weeks later we were invited to present our fashion show at Madame Tussauds, London.
2022 coincided with a launch of the Harvey Price Gold Collection and so the event was dedicated to this. To celebrate, many friends of Born Anxious became models for the day and share their experience below.

“We never would have dreamed Levi and Lucas would walk a major catwalk in London as smaller children they were often excluded from other childrens birthday party’s as they were seen as been naughty or a danger to other children.
Bringing the boys up in a world that doesn’t except different and expects certain behaviours has had its challenges from they gp offering to give them diazepam to “Keep them calm” on the plain to been asked to move seats in a restaurant because the boys sound we’re disturbing peoples meal.
We have never expected any of this and tried to involve and include the boys in all kinds of activities from speed boating to swimming with stingray’s and why not ?
When we heard born Anxious would like to involve the boys we thought it was just amazing and we were extremely excited from the boys often excluded to one up front and proud , the boys had so much fun on the trip they love staying in hotel and always the first to bounce on the Bed
The show itself was extremely inclusive and catered for the participants individual sensory needs , with visual and pec widely available, quiet rooms and areas backstage and ear defenders available if required , nothing was forced just supported , Been involved in events like this helps the boys desensitise to sounds and crowds and in turn helps them except busy noisy environments to the. enable them to do so much more like go abroad and cope with airports and theme parks we can and will not keep the boys locked away like in times gone by , they are full and included members of society” x
