Born Anxious is a homegrown clothing label with two objectives, to make the clothes as comfortable as possible, whilst also remaining planet friendly, and to hold important information that will aim to help not only the child, but also the caregiver as well when required. As an autism mum myself, I have thought about what could help me and other caregivers whilst trying to be as generic as possible within the designs, alongside giving those the opportunity to personalise their products as well.
Born Anxious first met Harvey Price in November 2019 at Autism’s got Talent, he is a heart-stealer. Autism’s got Talent is an inclusive celebration of Talent for those on the spectrum set up by Autism Ambassador Anna Kennedy OBE founder of @annakennedyonline charity.
Harvey has been featured many times wearing our sensory clothing in the media and on Katie’s YouTube channel and it felt right to create a collection of his own. We have named this “Harvey Price Official Clothing Range.“ Harvey has a love of frogs and it’s important that it includes a personal interest to him. He benefits from the organic cotton and label free style we offer for health and sensory reasons.
Harvey became an Ambassador to the Anna Kennedy Online charity in 2020 and regularly appears in Campaigns to fund-raise. Anna Kennedy is Ambassador to our clothing brand so with these links in mind the collection will be donating to Harvey’s personal trust fund and the Anna Kennedy Online charity. It is a celebration of all things Autism, supporting each other and small charities and Harvey’s love of frogs.
Harvey was born with a rare genetic disorder septo-optic dysplasia, he is partially blind, Harvey is also diagnosed with Prader Willi syndrome and Autism. He embraces his neurodiversity and has been supported by his Mum Katie Price, who advocates for Harvey and the Autism Community inclusion and fights against bullying of minority groups. Katie has taken Harvey’s Law to Parliament to petition for a change in the law to make online abuse an offence she continues to fight for this change.
