Born Anxious is a homegrown clothing label with two objectives, to make the clothes as comfortable as possible, whilst also remaining planet friendly, and to hold important information that will aim to help not only the child, but also the caregiver as well when required. As an autism mum myself, I have thought about what could help me and other caregivers whilst trying to be as generic as possible within the designs, alongside giving those the opportunity to personalise their products as well.
We have been fortunate to have met some inspirational people on our journey and are proud to be able to support them in some way with their missions.
Work for Good have announced us as a Charity Champion for 2021
From very early in the Born Anxious journey we connected with Anna Kennedy Online. Since then we have supported the charity, with Anna becoming an Ambassador for Born Anxious. You can view our many collaborations here.
In June ‘21, we were invited to appear on the catwalk at the ChabsUK Fashion show at the Hilton, London. In March ‘22 we are back including our The Harvey Price Official Clothing Range and the NEW Black and Gold Collection.
Our Lucy Collection has been created to demonstrate strength, advocacy, courage and purpose. Never to give up. Every sale from the Lucy Collection donates £1 to Macmillan.
We are very proud of our roots and continue to support our local charities. SNAAP is unique: providing an extensive range of services to children with every kind of disability, aged from 0-25 years, in partnership with parents.
Through our collaboration with Purple Ella, Born Anxious donates 10% of every Purple Ella sale to The National Autistic Society, to support them with the great work they do for autistic people in the UK.
The Kent Autistic Trust has been providing support for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other associated difficulties since 1989. We have supported them since we started and continue to donate to such a hardworking community charity.
Through our collaboration with The Kindness Guy Born Anxious will be donating to Mind, an important charity who are there for everyone who needs them for all mental health issues.
