Born Anxious have collaborated with My Own Kind of Music, a clothing label all about empowerment and reminding people of the beauty and uniqueness that their own story possesses.

My Own Kind of Music (MOKOM) was founded by Beth Kume-Holland, a young female entrepreneur who works to raise awareness of invisible disabilities and challenge the public perceptions of disability. Beth lives with fibromyalgia and other chronic health conditions and she started ‘My Own Kind of Music’ following a very difficult experience as a disabled professional and graduate of both Harvard and Oxford University.

Beth started the label to remind people that chronic illness or health conditions are not something you should have to overcome or emerge heroically from. It’s about embracing your true self, seeing that there is a place for you and remembering that you are not alone, no matter how hard things may seem sometimes.
